A number one pop single in the U.S. for Elton John in 1975.  The song was dedicated to Billie Jean King, a member of the tennis team, the Philadelphia Freedoms.  The song also pays Homage to the 1970s Philadelphia sound and was a huge hit in 1976 at the U.S. bicentennial celebration.
