This song, made into a flute ensemble / choir arrangement by me;
Ray-Michael Kauffman. This piece is a great song, and the first and the
original arrangement for flute choirs. As a flutist, and player in many
different flute groups I know the importance of a well put together
arrangement. Now a day it seems too many arrangements of songs are just slapped
together and are not enjoyable to play or listen to. But flutists out there
will enjoy this arrangement. A lot of thought and effort was placed into this,
because this song is very special to me.
My mother loved this song, and would sing and play this song a lot
around the holidays. I dedicated this
song in the memory of my mother, Kim M. Kauffman who loved Christmas more than anyone
else Ive ever known. So, working on and
hearing this lovely song brought wonderful holiday memories back to me, and I hope
it will for you as well.
Features optional bells / glockenspiel
which enhances the beauty of this holiday favorite. This arrangement gives all the parts of the
flute ensemble a chance to shine from piccolo, to the c flute parts all through
the alto and bass flute. Parts are for
Piccolo, C flute 1, flute 2, flute 3, flute 4, flute 5, Alto flute in G, Bass flute,
and bells / glockenspiel. Purchasing this song, you will receive the score and
all 9 individual parts. Piece is approximately four and a half +
minutes long and would be a very welcomed addition to any flute ensemble, high school,
college, church, community group or choir out there. Well suited from
intermediate to intermediate+/ advanced players. Would be well enjoyed for
audiences of all ages, from band, holiday concerts, to church and other
religious events. I hope you love this
as much as I do. Thank you.
