Product Description

Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin arranged for classical guitar by Matthew C. Weiss. The goal of this arrangement is to be as true to Scott Joplin's original piano score as possible. The bass line and register are altered only when absolutely necessary. All the essential notes of the original harmonies are retained and the melodic lines remain intact with the exception of the ascending arpeggios in bars 7-8 and 41-42. Many thanks to Jeffrey Goodman for providing his expertise and encouragement with this project.
