Product Description

Released in 2011, "Marry You" is a song by The Smeezingtons and sung by Bruno Mars. Its lyrics talk of spontaneous marriage and, as a result, has been used as a song to propose to. The song has mostly notably been covered by the cast of Glee in the eighth episode of the second season (in fact, this cover reached 32 on the Billboard Hot 100; the originally charted at 85).

This arrangement is for the UK-style brass band, with alternative parts for horns in F and bass-clef lower brass. It has been designed to work just as well for indoor performances as outdoor concerts by ensuring the scoring is not too thin at any point. It also has the band parts reduced down to march-card size for use with a lyre as well as a music stand (making it ideal for events such as Durham Miners' Gala). Finally, if you do not have a full band or more of a ten-piece ensemble in mind, then some of the parts can be omitted and it will still work just as well!

A recording of the original song can be found here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lqF_huno40.
