This arrangement comes from the piano duo repertoire. It is amazing how much excitement and variety is packed into this short, 3 minute composition. Solo violin and viola parts are needed and offer a nice opportunity for the more advanced player. The colors, sonorities and depth of expression really come to life for string orchestra. I have always loved conducting the arrangement for full orchestra, which enticed me to do this arrangement for strings. I have had great success in performing this as I know you will.
