This beautiful ballad from Adele's first album "19" is lovely when played by a string quartet. The opening section lends itself well to the sustained, resonant string sound, and the hypnotic piano accompaniment which features throughout most of the original song is split between the violins and the viola. The melody also gets shared by the upper three parts. This arrangement has been transposed down to A minor, making it much more string-friendly.
