The inclusion of the beginner parts and an optional piano accompaniment make this piece ideal for an all-in-together strings performance at an end-of-season concert. Tapping the body of the string instruments also includes an enjoyable percussive element to the piece. The piece has proven popular among numerous Australian school string ensembles.
