Product Description

A chaconne is musical composition popular in the baroque era with variations on a repeated short harmonic progression using a short repetitive bass-line. Durand's CHACONNE was published in Paris in 1868. This arrangement is an INTERMEDIATE VIOLIN SOLO with PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT. It is a lively piece that will please the players and the audience alike. A separate sheet for the violin is provided in addition to the score. Other similar arrangements by McIntire include Berceuse from Jocelyn by Goddard and The Young Prince and Princess by Rimsky-Korsakoff, also available at this web site.
