Product Description

Perpetuum mobile is a tour de force novelty piece for 4-part SATB chorus and piano. It is a joke about a musical joke. Set in the style of the German group Comedian Harmonists, it uses adaptable nonsense syllables, has the possibility of creating ensembles within the ensemble, invites the addition of percussive instruments such as a siren whistle, triangle, kazoos, etc. It employs such techniques as double-tonguing and gargling. It truly is a joke about a musical joke. This mp3 file is an 'orchestrated' recording of my arrangement and could serve as either a rehearsal tool or an recorded accompaniment for performance,

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
