Product Description

The Swingin Shepherd Blues is a composition by the Canadian jazz and studio musician Moe Koffman. He first recorded the song in 1957 and achieved great success with it. Originally, The Swingin Shepherd Blues was a solo piece for flute.

I originally wrote this arrangement for a Saxophone Trio with the lineup Alto, Tenor, and Baritone (ATB). However, the first part also works well with the Soprano Saxophone (STB). The notated solo is a transcription of Moe Koffman's solo. Please note that in this piece, the first part also plays the triangle!

Saxophone Trio ATB (STB). Duration: 2:15 min. Level: 3/5.

Part 1: Soprano Sax / Alto Sax (& Triangle)
Part 2: Tenor Sax
Part 3: Baritone Sax
Score in C

A high-quality arrangement by a professional musician. It also includes interesting information about the piece and helpful tips for interpretation. For more information, please visit my website: www.benjaminkaraca.com.
