Product Description
Do-re-mi, the
well-known song by Hammerstein and Rodgers, in the movie "The Sound of Music"
is a good starting point for working with children and young people in the classroom.
The teacher can use
his musical skills such as playing the piano, or singing. The song is
well known, so it will be easy for most of the class to sing it. The added
voice, a little more difficult, higher pitch, text, articulation, etc ... will
be sung by the students with greater musical ability or higher tessitura.
This work is
specially arranged to be worked and sung in a school with the students.
To sing it, some kind
of theater or performance can be included, especially for the group that sings
the melody.
This arrangement
respects the original version by Rodgers and Hammerstein, and adds a second
voice, with enough piano accompaniment to begin the musical and polyphonic
development in the school.
