In 1938 Revueltas wrote Sensemayá canto para matar a una culebra for large orchestra. Revueltas died only a few years later in 1940 and the piece of music is now in public domain throughout many parts of the world (but not in the USA and where Schirmer has publication authority). It is arranged here for Chamber Ensemble.
