A very expressive concert band arrangement of the moving song "Tres Triste Tigres" by the Spanish Celtic band Mägo De Oz. The piece features a violin soloist (not typically a part of a concert band). This arrangement requires a strong and confident flute section, and also has some technically challenging parts for the trumpet (not range challenges, but flexibility challenges). The violin solo cues have been written out in the Flute 1 and Clarinet 1 parts in case a violin player is not available. The midi recording does not do justice to this songs true potential and expression, however it can give a general idea of the piece. It is recommended that one also listen to the Mägo De Oz original recording (not a concert band), to understand the proper feel of this song.
