A SATB choir a cappella arrangement of 5 of the original instrumental dance movements of M. Praetorius (1571-1621) famous collection of Dances TERPSICHORE. The Dances are:
Gavotte
Courante CXVI
La Rosette CIX
Courante CXXXVI
La Bouree XXXII
Duration just over 8 minutes for all five of them but they may be used individually, each being about 1 to 2 minutes long.
Nothing of the original music has been changed, just transcribed for voices. A great success with choir members and audiences alike! The attached mp3 file is a converted sibelius file.
