Also known as "The Liberty Bell" this popular march can be enjoyed at any festive occasion where a march is appropriate.
Originally, Sousa planned this music for an opera that was never completed.  Upon watching an exhibit of the Liberty Bell the idea came about to name his piece in honor of the famous bell. The piece has been played at the inauguration of several presidents of the the USA so it can be considered a patriotic tune dispite it's association with the British comedy group that has made the piece so popular in modern times.
