"Joshua" is a male solo taken from the musical "Berlin" by Tim J Spencer. It is an epic ballad and an excellent audition piece for a big tenor voice (D#2 - A3). The song explains the story of the show, Hans has, against the will of the state, adopted Joshua from the night he was born, after he is ordered to kill the child, as Joshua's mother is a political prisoner. Joshua has lived his whole life unaware of this. This emotive song is Hans' explanation to his adopted son of the story that took place some 20 years before. The MP3 is a demo by the composer.
