This is an arrangement of the Count Basie classic, Duet, originally written for two trumpets. This is an arrangement by British Composer, Marcus Day, arranged for Jazz Ensemble, instrumentation; Soprano Sax One, Soprano Sax Two, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Trombone, Piano, Double Bass and Drum Kit. The four parts are fully written out, including drum part and a very interesting and influential Double Bass part.
It is a pretty simple piece, and is very good fun to play, suitable for High School musicians and above.
