Product Description

Harry Dacre composed "Daisy Bell" in 1892, and it quickly became a big hit. In the years since it has remained popular and has been recorded, parodied and used in movies and television programs numerous times. It is still an audience pleaser, and when performed on a concert, folks almost inevitably hum along.
This version echoes the period in which it was written; the melody is handed off from instrument to instrument and there is just the right amount of ricky-tick. Everyone gets a chance to shine.
This arrangement was completed in 2014, and performance time runs about 2 minutes, 30 seconds. The arranger, Les Smith, will be happy to provide substitute parts (for example, treble clef baritone for euphonium) at no charge; contact him directly at lessmith61@bellsouth.net. For more arrangements by Les, enter "Sweetwater Brass Press" (without the quotation marks) in the search box. (Also, purchase of this piece entitles you to your choice of another of his arrangements at no charge; send a copy of your purchase receipt directly to him at lessmith61@bellsouth.net.)
