Product Description

Eva's Song was written for the recorder virtuoso and great friend of mine, Eva Heitzinger. It is in three movements. Written originally for tenor recorder, it could also be played on other members of the recorder family. One of the unusual characteristics of this piece is that it incorporates some Turkish music theory that I picked up when I lived in Istanbul. There are several altered pitches and I have included their fingerings. This gives the piece a different kind of expressive nature. The duration is about ten minutes.
