Released in 1988 by Queen vocalist Freddie Mercury and operatic soprano Montserrat Caballe, who had requested that Freddie write a song about her hometown. Barcelona is about meeting a lover in a breathtakingly beautiful city. The song was performed by Caballe at the opening ceremony of the 1992 Summer Olympics.

This powerful anthem is arranged for an a cappella SATB choir in English and Spanish and could be a stunning piece to finish your festival or concert. The duration is approximately 4:25.
