Product Description

Esther, HWV.50b is an oratorio composed by George Frideric Handel. The story is set in 4th century B.C. of Persia. "Who calls my parting soul" is a beautiful area duet for Esther and King Ahaseurus. The music was originally written as "Soll mein kind" in Brockes Passion, HWV.48. The lower melody part was a little bit decorated in Esther.
