Product Description

Fantasia was commissioned for the Bach tercentenary year. It is a completion of Bachs original Fantasia in C major for organ which contains only a few bars. It was originally completed for organ and then turned into this present form as the work has the definite feel of a trio sonata. It is featured in this form on the 2002 Arcady CD A Beckett Miscellany. The instrumentation, as with Baroque chamber music, is flexible. A version of Fantasia also has been made for three instruments. If any of these alternate versions is preferred, please contact the composer through www.ronaldbeckettmusic.com and it will be put on this site.
