Product Description

How Can I Keep From Singing? also known as My Life Flows On In Endless Song was composed by Robert Lowry who fit his lyric to an early American folk tune. First appearing shortly after the American Civil War, the hymn took over a century to gain in popularity. Pete Seeger revived the hymn in the 1960s and it has gained in popularity since then.  Irish artist Enya recorded it in 1991 in her album, Shepherd Moons.
This arrangement by McIntire as an Intermediate Piano Solo links the original 6/4 rhythm with a modern 3/4 rhythm that moves the melody from its haunting beginnings to a more lively interpretation.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
