Carolina Moon was composed by Davis and Burke in 1924 and first recorded by Gene Austin in 1928 becoming an immediate hit. The song was later revived by Connie Francis in 1958. Its beautiful and haunting melody has remained popular over the years.  McIntire's arrangement takes advantage of the unique chord changes providing an interesting version for pianists and their listeners.
