This is one of 6 vocal duo arrangements of the German folk song "Im schönsten Wiesengrunde" (words by Wilhelm Ganzhorn) This is the simplest of the arrangements in that the guitar part is reduced to chord names. The lower voice sings the tune and the higher voice provides a countermelody. A version for full guitar accompaniment and a version for piano accompaniment are also available The sound sample here is an electronic preview - obviously the guitar can use the chords to strum or finger-pick ad lib.
