This song was inspired by a photo part of which is on the cover of a black swan at an actual place called the "Black Lake." Would be a great repertoire piece for the advancing intermediate student. The score contains the oboe and piano part and a separate oboe part as well. The recording of the piano part may be found separately under "Black Swan PIANO TRACK." James Michael Stevens is a prolific composer residing in Nashville, TN.
