Here is a string duet arrangement (for 2 VIOLINS) of the really old hymn UNSER HERRSCHER by Joachim Neander (1680). The Easter lyrics titled "He Is Risen" were added by Cecil Frances Alexander over 100 years later.

Two unique verses are included interspersed with bright staccato interludes. VIOLIN 1 and VIOLIN 2 alternate leading with the melody throughout both verses. All notes for both VIOLIN parts are playable in the first position making this arrangement an excellent choice for early-intermediate string players. The purchase price includes a 3-page combined score with both parts on each page plus separate 1-staff scores for each VIOLIN (2 pages each).
