This set of three very easy hymns was arranged by Monika Durbin for early beginner flute students. Each piece has a full, beautiful piano accompaniment to support even the most beginning players, and comes with a separate flute part. See details below for notes on range.
Contents of this collection:
1. Jesus Loves Me
Key of F major, but Bb is not yet used. Range consists of only 5 notes (F, G, A, C, D) from the 1st space F to the 4th line D. Piano part is playful, with movement, but should always remain gentle underneath the flute part, being careful not to overpower the melody.
2. O, How I Love Jesus
Uses only 5 pitches (G, A, B, C, D), from the 2nd line G to the 4th line D. Accompaniment has a graceful waltz feel.
3. Holy, Holy, Holy
Key of F major. Range is 1 octave, from the first space F to the top line F.
