Popular is one of the better known songs from Stephen Schwartz's music to the broadway musical Wicked. Aicked tells us the story of the Wicked Witch of the West, who wants to be a good witch, but she is picked on by Glenda, who's not really shown in a good light at all.

The song is in a scene where Glinda is explaining what she wants to do with her life  - she wants to be Popular.

The song is arranged for British Brass Band with the solo line taken by the Flugelhorn. There is an alternative part for Eb horn.
