In 1987, while living in Singapore, I set out with the goal of crafting an album comprising ten piano pieces evoking the essence of Chinese music, aptly named CHINA LOVE.
DREAMS OF THE ORIENT encapsulates my vivid encounters while voyaging through the Far East aboard the cruise ship MS PEARL OF SCANDINAVIA a few years earlier. Immersed in diverse cultural experiences, particularly those of China and Asia, I gained profound insights into their music and traditions, memories I hold dear to this day.
