Product Description
In this new piece for two-part treble choir, singers take on the character of a friend of the famous poet, Emily Dickinson. In her later years, Emily struggled with anxiety, grief, and agoraphobia, and chose to stay almost completely confined to her home for almost seven years before her death. She died virtually unknown, surrounded only by close friends and family-- almost hard to believe, since her poems have since touched the hearts and minds of millions. Encompassing her love of nature, strong emotions, and the quiet beauty of her mind, this is a love letter to Emily, and a wish for women everywhere to be healthy, happy, and free.
