This is not intended to be a super historically accurate version; it is more of a guitar version for those that might not sing (maybe you have heard someone do a solo SATB guitar version of a Beatles song). However, someone could use this version to create a simple or sophisticated version. The melody is exact but the harmonies were altered slightly.  I often make a version like this to accurately sing the melody, then once I've done that, I feel like I can "just go with it" better. For some people, singing teaches them guitar, for me, guitar teaches my singing.
