Product Description

This festive work is based on the classic hymn "Onward, Christian Soldiers", using the hymn tune "St. Gertrude".  This was composed for Second Presbyterian Church in Portsmouth, Ohio for the dedication of their renovated organ, with the premiere played by Stanley Workman in November 2023.  While written and recorded on a two manual instrument, there are many options for trumpet voices and other registrations throughout to showcase your instrument.  I hope it add a joyful touch to your worship services!
