This edition is perfect for teachers who want to help student prepare to perform with the piano part or any two cellists who just want to have fun! There are 20 pieces for Cello Duet.
About A Musical Odyssey :
The pieces in Book 1 were selected to acquaint cellists at Suzuki levels 2-4 with fun techniques like slapping the cello, left and right hand pizzicato; and various rhythms: rumba, waltz, huapango, tango... Each piece has an accompanying page of exercises, helping the student to get a good feel for the rhythms.

The repertoire in Book 2 moves beyond the first four positions and is intended for students in Suzuki levels 4-6. Technical challenges include: fast string crossings, the introduction of tenor and treble clefs, thumb position, and asymmetrical rhythms. There are three jazzy pieces to develop a feel of swung eighth notes.
