SSAA acapella.  This peppy version of the Mueller setting of Away In a Manger is great for carolers, show choirs, a capella groups and other vocal ensembles looking for a fresh take on a classic carol. The low alto line keeps a chromatic rhythm throughout, with an option for vocal percussion. The first and third verses employ traditional chords, but the second verse deviates from the norm in surprising ways. The mezzo takes over the melody on the third verse allowing the high soprano to rock a descant line through the end of the piece.  Also available in SATB.
