Product Description
Arranged for mountian dulcimer in standard DAd (1-5-8) tuning. The 1+ fret is required.
Well suited for Intermediate players and above.
Additional instruction included on the final page of the packet regarding strum pattern, adding a second dulcimer part, and timing. This is another of those well known songs that the "if you can sing it, you can play it" axiom holds true.
You'll notice in the tab that there are some notes that appear in (parenthesis) at the end of certain lyrics passages. These are optional phrases that can be incorporated (or not) for extra flair at the player's discretion. They mimic some of the great guitar riffs in the original recording. The included strum pattern can be substituted in these areas for simplicity.
Arrangement includes leadsheet notation, tablature, accompaniment chords, complete lyrics, strum pattern, and instruction on playing options.
A great song to have in your arsenal for when the next wiseguy shouts "Freebird!" when you are playing in public.
