The Baroque guitar was favoured by aristocratic amateurs (the lute was for professionals), and they had better things to do than practice - like dressing up as shepherds and shepherdesses - and were content to be happy strummers. Here are three of the chord solos they strummed: 1. Folia, Benedetto Sanseverino, 2. Aria di Fiorenza, Pietro Millioni, 3.  Españoleta, Gaspar Sanz. The audio sample is Aria di Fiorenza.
