This piece has been arranged as a slow march, a style used by many military bands in the United Kingdom as a change of pace during perfomances both on foot and in concert. 

Fighting 17th should be performed in a reverant style but also in an optimistic manner.

It is taken from the 1991 movie opening title, Backdraft which is about two firefighter brothers who have to put their differences asside to overcome a menecing arsonist.
