Product Description

The Concertino for Flute and Orchestra in D Major, Op. 107, is a concert piece composed in 1902 by Cécile Chaminade. Commissioned by Théodore Dubois for the Paris Conservatory flute competition in 1902, Chaminade's Flute Concertino is dedicated to the flute teacher at the Conservatory, Paul Taffanel. A seductive piece, recorded many times, it is still part of the concert repertoire for the instrument today.
