Bushes and Briars is a traditional English folk song which was features in the 1968 version of Far From the Madding Crowd, sung by Julie Christie as Bathsheba Everdene. This arrangement for classical guitar is in the form of theme and variations, the final variation being fugal in style. This variation is at an advanced level and can be omitted if required. The other variations are easy intermediate and intermediate.
