Product Description

Parker was a 20th Century American writer from New Jersey. This is one of her many poems full of her famous wit and critical wisecracks. One of my highschool English teachers, Mr. Jeff Mallory, challenged me to set this poem to music, that he shared on Facebook. After the introduction, which uses augmented sixth chords, Section A is the poet'sfantasy of what she wants to do with those who are on her bad side. Section B changes mood as she enters a realitic aspect that she has no such capabilities but her trolls and demons are still around. At the end, the pianist should allow the dissonant chrod to remain as long as possible.
