Product Description

Monteverdi's Crucifixus for Trombone Quartet has been beautifully arranged by Jeff Reynolds. Taken from the Mass first published in 1641 towards the end of the composer's life, it is in the stile antico and extremely chromatic. Right from the opening measures, the chromatic line is descending, projecting the emotions of sadness and loss. The arrangement is appropriate for intermediate to advanced intermediate performers with the 1st part only in tenor clef and may be performed successfully as a quartet or in a large choir.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
