Composed by William Billings (1746-1800), "Eastertide," also known as "Easter Anthem," is skillfully adapted and arranged here for brass quintet by Jayson Gerth. Every instrument gets an opportunity to shine in this edition, and stylistically appropriate interpretation and phrase markings are added for performers. Certainly appropriate for the Easter season, this arrangement is also a great concert and contest choice.
