Product Description

Old Glory is a nickname for the flag of the United States. The original "Old Glory" was a flag owned by the 19th-century American sea captain William Driver (March 17, 1803 March 3, 1886), who flew the flag during his career at sea and later brought it to Nashville, Tennessee, where he settled.
That of course, is the historic description. (From Wikipedia)
Part of a larger work entitled, "An American Salutation" this piece was written in commemoration of the flag and for the people it represents.
Patriotic in its sound, "Old Glory" would be suggested for any historic American holiday or function, i.e., Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, etc and gives one a proud feeling when played. Also makes a nice addition to any brass quintet program.
