The orchestration for this piece (strings+ 0.2.0.1:2.0.0.0.0) is similar to several 18th Century symphonies and so it is a very suitable contrast in a concert programme.   Copying of individual string parts for sole use by the purchaser is permitted.   A companion piece is Li'L Liza Jane, also for chamber orchestra, also arranged by Ian Butterworth.

Through his experience of teaching the violin at all levels and conducting youth orchestras over many years, Ian Butterworths large number of compositions and arrangements have been enjoyed by youth and amateur players.
