Princess Royal (aka Miss McDermott) is one of O'Carolan's loveliest. This one is in OPEN G tuning in the key of Gm. Minor keys are not as common in OPEN G. This tune is usually done a bit quicker, but your call as to speed. Placing a capo on the second or third fret adds a lovely harp-like sonority. Capo-less is wonderful too! This one is for lovers of OPEN G guitar.
