Product Description

Jean-Philippe Rameau's opera Zaïs was first performed on 29 February 1748 at the Opéra in Paris. The opera's overture, represented here, is particularly extraordinary for its depiction of the emergence of the four elements out of chaos. This arrangement for 5 trumpets provides each player an opportunity to play interesting parts. Trumpet 1 is played on piccolo trumpet, trumpet 2 plays B-flat and E-flat trumpets, and trumpets 3-5 play B-flats. About 6 minutes.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
